This month’s cover story was shot by Marili André, with styling by Kalina Pulit, featuring model Alexandra Carl. We found out a bit more about the people involved with the shoot.

Marili André - Photographer

Marili grew up in Greece and has moved to London recently. She doesn’t enjoy going out unless it consists of some nuts concert in a church or perhaps a show featuring drag queens. Marili is strongly inspired by cinema, music and literature, and is a devoted fan of Jean-Luc Godard. She also takes inspiration from Serge Gainsbourg, Guy Bourdin, Catherine Ringer and Helmut Newton. Where does she see herself in five years? Sous le ciel de Paris. Kalina Pulit – Stylist

Kalina spends most of her days running between college, shoots and work, powered by neverending sources of energy and uncountable cups of coffee. All for the sake of styling and art directing still and moving images. Always equipped with a film camera, she documents her fast track lifestyle, interesting people and colourful things she gets to see, which she later uploads to her blog, together with pictures of chandeliers, patterns and people’s backs. Alexandra Carl – Model

Alexandra, represented by NEXT, is a Copenhagen-born model who moved to London six months ago, after graduating from high school. Alongside her modelling career, she also styles, and has been working for the last year and a half for  DANSK magazine. She enjoys hanging around cafés and watching people that inspire her. She is currently reading Patti Smith’s biography Just Kids, for the third time.
