Bernadette Redfern is a freelance journalist, editor and writer and has travelled extensively in order to cover breaking news and research features. She has a particular interest in the Middle East and is a regular contributor to Middle East Economic Digest, covering a range of business sectors from banking & finance, capital markets and real estate, construction and energy. She also writes about women’s issues in the professional sector from empowerment of women in Saudi Arabia to maternity rights in the UK. Bernadette has a Masters degree in Civil Engineering with Environmental Management from Manchester University and a Periodical Training Council professional certificate in journalism.
