Who are they?

Farfetch.com is a new cutting edge online store based in London’s Soho. The innovative website combines 40 of the best independent fashion boutiques from Europe and North America, in one shopping website allowing visitors a one-stop shopping experience with the possibility of browing the most impressive designer fashion brands from the comfort of their own home.

The site’s unique shopping versatility has proved to be a hit worldwide with no plans to slow down. Although Far Fetch is a relatively young company the team behind it have a great desire to create even more success and as such is the popularity of the site is growing at a rapid pace.

The Look

Far Fetch concentrate not only on high end but also up and coming designers, and this is easily laid out on the website with the designers being split into three departments. The Luxe collection focuses on influential and progressive designers that are most desired around the world such as Alexander Wang, Balmain and Rick Owens.

A second department titled Lab concentrates on new and experimental designers that have been handpicked for their distinctive approach to fashion and style. Designers who are known for being unconventional and that have been featured are Opening Ceremony, b Store and Future Classics.

The final section is aptly titled Cult and is dedicated to a clique that have the ability to create fashion that is imaginative, fresh and never generic; some designers included in this mix are Acne, Citizens of Humanity and J Brand. With such a diverse combination of designers, fashion and style Far Fetch definitely have a great collection of boutiques that will gain mass attention from all types of fashion lovers.

Many fashion publications and websites have been singing the praises of Far Fetch with Wonderland magazine giving it the crown for “The world’s most progressive designers online for the first time.” The website even has Grazia Daily gushing that it’s the “hot new website in e-shopping.”
