Who are they?

Established in Australia in 2009, Finders Keepers was set up by Dean and Melanie Flintoft - a husband and wife team - with the aim of creating a youthful label offering fashion-forward style at affordable prices. Finders Keepers is headed up by designer Julia Ritorto who previously worked at Pilgrim - another well-known Australian fashion brand.

The look?

It seems that Dean and Melanie have succeeded in their mission of fast fashion with a fresh, young look. Expect directional, trend-led pieces at mid-market prices - think printed jeans and blazers, shape-conscious dresses and beautifully cut tops and skirts with a minimal look. Finders Keepers is typically Antipodean in its relaxed yet stylish aesthetic, with a host of dresses and separates to take girls that work hard - and play harder - from office to out and about.

There’s a clean and modern look to the label, with a bohemian edge; shirts are sheer or slightly masculine, hemlines are thigh-skimmingly mini - or dramatically maxi, and tailored jackets feature sleek detailing to keep things sharp. The mainstay hues of Finders Keepers collections are black, white and grey, accentuated with eye-catching beachy bright marine shades, muted neons and soft pastels. All of the pieces could be dressed up or down - add a few chunky accessories and you’re good to go.

The buzz?

Well we don’t like to name drop, but suffice to say that the ‘slebs (Sienna, Kim, Paris) love them some Finders Keepers. This might put you off. But it shouldn’t. Thanks to rapid expansion in the US, the brand has been featured on various blogs including Song of Style and Who What Wear.
