At last month’s London College of Fashion MA showcase it was all about womenswear, menswear and which member of Girls Aloud was sitting in the front row. However from a Running in Heels point of view, one LCF graduate whose collection should not be missed is Kerrie Michelle Luft. Yes, we are talking about shoes of course. Kerrie’s sublimely elegant collection of footwear was inspired by the sinuous lines and elegant curves of Art Nouveau and the results will have any would be Carrie Bradshaw enraptured. Her designed are exquisitely made in black suede or glazed kid leather in palest rosepetal pink, dove grey and nude, with beautifully crafted heels in nylon and titanium. The collection features courts, peeptoe mules, strappy sandals and our favourites – a gorgeous pair of shoe-boots with cutout detailing and the most incredibly elegant heels in the shape of lilies. These are definitely not shoes that we would risk running in.
