Lunchbreak Beauty Buzz: Neat Nails in Rome

nailstore romeYou know the old saying, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”.  Well, when it comes to traversing their fair city, Romans walk.  (Well, at least those without a Vespa!) All that foot traffic sure does wreak havoc on your poor tootsies.  But there is a solution to your wrecked feet that won’t wreck your pocketbook:  Nail Store.

With six locations throughout the city, Nail Store is an easy and inexpensive answer to your nail troubles.  I recently visited their boutique on via San Basilio near the Piazza Barberini. The ultra small locale is organized over two floors and decorated completely in Nail Stores’ pretty signature white and pink.   However, accommodating only three or four manicure clients upstairs and two pedicures below means that an appointment is a must!

With appointments lasting approximately 45 minutes, Nail Store is the perfect choice for a quick beauty pick-me-up if on your lunchbreak or simply on the run. Manicures and pedicures range between 20 and 30 Euros, and the salon also does tips, filling, French manicures, nail art and paraffin baths.   Be sure to ask for the kiwi and melon Sea of Life Scrub with your pedicure.  This product, also sold in the store, is rich in natural oils and in salts from the Dead Sea and has an über relaxing smell and feel.

To pamper your piedi visit www.nailstore.it for locations and opening hours.
