CRAVE: Chantecaille’s Protected Paradise for Eyes

Posted in Mirror Mirror » Crave » by :: July 27, 2009

chantecailleThere are some questions which keep us awake at night. Are Brad and Angelina really that perfect? What is life all about? Is it possible to be kind to fish and my face simultaneously? We’re afraid that we can’t answer the first two questions, however the response to the third is a resounding yes! Thanks to one of our favourite purveyors of prettifying products, Chantecaille, it is indeed possible to make an investment for marine life and makeup. Chantecaille’s Protected Paradise for Eyes is one of two palettes created to help the fishies; 5% of the proceeds from sales of the products is donated to the Pew Fellowship in Marine Conservation, a body that funds vital research into fish sustainability and marine reserves.

The luxe compact is made from highly concentrated real pearls, which give concentrated colour and gorgeously subtle shimmer. The shades are perfect for sexy summer makeup; the palette contains an elegant dove grey eyeshadow with green accents, a deep aqua colour which can be used as an eyeliner and a pretty rose gold to highlight. Obviously the compact is produced to Chantecaille’s usual fantastic standard meaning that it has some seriously desirable packaging too. If you’re feeling particularly flush (or just desperate to donate to fish sustainability) you could also purchase the Protected Palette for Face.

Now back to pondering the meaning of life. And Brad.
